| At Global Point Injection Molding we have implemented and received certification the International Quality Systems Standard ISO/TS16949:2002. Our certifying agency is a North American registrar. GPIM had decided to use a North American Registrar Bureau Veritas for our Quality Systems Certification too ensure our Customers of Authenticity. Our quality system meets the rigid requirements of the world's automotive manufacturers. The process is utilized for all parts regardless of the industry.
The quality department at GPIM is staffed with highly qualified and motivated professionals. Our staff is trained in 6 SIGMA techniques to eliminate waste and insure that our processes provide quality products from the first production run. Our quality objectives have enabled us to become the preferred supplier to our current customers and the supplier of interest to potential customers.
Our full-service quality laboratory is equipped with the latest inspection devices.
 We have full layout capabilities for our products. Our primary equipment includes 3D vision systems and probe CMM. This equipment is supplemented by a full set of manual gages, pins and functional gages. We provide our customer with all the data needed to determine production part approvals. All projects begin by assigning a cross-functional development team who insures the success of a project by following our process development guidelines. Quality is maintained by developing the best process, and monitoring this process. We do not inspect quality into the product, we build it into the process. This has proven to be a win/win for our customer and GPIM.
